Sync configuration

Once you’ve set up your Bluecore destination and have a model to pull data from, you can set up your sync configuration to begin syncing data. Go to the Syncs overview page and click the Add sync button to begin. Then, select the relevant model and the Bluecore destination you want to sync to.

Syncing via batch file delivery

Field mapping

Hightouch lets you sync batch file delivery fields via field mapping. You can map data from any of your model columns to the default batch file delivery fields. Ensure your model’s columns have the same data types as the fields you want to sync to.

CSV options

Bluecore delivers files as CSV. In the sync’s Advanced settings, select CSV under What file format would you like to use? to configure the following options:
  • Delimiter — the character that separates fields. Your options are comma (,), semicolon (;), pipe (|), tilde (~), and tab.
  • Include CSV header? — whether to write a header row of field names as the first line of the file. This is off by default.
  • Include a byte order mark (BOM) — whether to prefix the file with a BOM (<U+FEFF>).
